Hiking Bridger Bowl
Take a hike
Bridger Bowl shuts down its lifts on the 2nd weekend of April. On some years we have skied with a couple inches of fresh powder and heavy snowflakes filling the sky, and on others it is so warm that not even a jacket is needed. This year we enjoyed clear blue skies and temperatures in the 50’s. This was the perfect opportunity to take my twin sister on a hike on The Fingers. This hike isn’t too long, and the runs down allow for some nice quick turns and a nice transition back to the groomed runs

The hike took about 15 minutes to complete, and we were able to enjoy a moment sitting in the sun softened snow while soaking up some much needed sun. It was a great last hike of the season, and a perfect activity to aide the transition into hiking season. Every season, every weekend and even every day offers an opportunity to have some kind of adventure here in Montana.
