Explore Rentals is now offering rental Toyota Tacomas. Being who we are, we have taken it to the next level: all of our Tacomas are of course 4wd, 4-door, long-bed, 2018 TRD Off Road models. These are the ultimate, ultralight, overland rentals in the USA.
But wait, there’s more! Our rental Tacomas also feature Go Fast Campers on them. These are innovative truck caps that flip up into roof-top tents in the matter of seconds- yet do not hinder the performance or drive-ability of the vehicle. It can act like a bed if you want it, or just as a secure truck cap if you don’t. Two-Wheel Drive converted “Campervans” have nothing on this go-anywhere camping-machine!

SECURE TRUCK TOPPER / INNOVATIVE CAMPER
Our custom made toppers are the best of both worlds: an easy to use and secure truck cap and a no-compromise roof-top tent. The ultralight GoFast Campers do not hinder truck performance or storage capacity, and our able to provide a multi-season domicile in the matter of seconds.
CUSTOM TRUCK BED STORAGE
The beds of our Tacoma rentals have custom made storage, adding three main benefits.
- It creates a completely flat surface above the wheel wells. You can set up a couple of camp chairs to hang out in the rain, or you can even have a couple more people sleep in it.
- Greatly increases storage and ease of use. Two removable plastic bins are perfect for your food and cooking equipment. (They are full of sand bags in winter to improve traction). Multiple storage bins on the side are perfect for quick access items and house auxiliary battery. One main storage bin in the back is perfect for emergency items such as one of our Rental Go-Bags.
- We have added a foam cushion to the tailgate. By using the Camper’s cushions as backrests (built and sized for this), you have a very comfortable “couch” to enjoy a cold beverage after a day exploring.
