Mid May 2018 I had a chance to get out of boze angeles and #explore a small creek in SW Montana I’d been wanting to fish for three years. Upon arrival signs at the fishing access read that the creek was closed until june 15th. A quick change in plans landed me and a friend at Hebgen Reservoir for a couple nights at an overcrowded campground on memorial day weekend. Oh Well…

Weather was bad for one of two days. But there were no issues because our Chalet Trailboss was a choice decision. With its quick one minute set up (and one minutetakedown) and hard sided construction, the rainy day was “non-existant”. I pulled the trailer to this destination with my weathered ’99 Toyota Tacoma, but due to the trailer’s relatively light weight, pulling was a breeze. The trailer tracked well at highway speeds. There was good visibility behind the truck due to the trailer’s foldability, and maneuverability around the campsite was extremely easy compared to the 30-foot campers others were pulling.

Inside we had the comforts of hot water, a nice propane range, a small but comfortable table to eat and conversate at. When the light in the sky turned off, the LED’s inside turned on providing more hours to converse and finish our beverages. At the end of the nights, two comfortable beds were right there when we needed them. When the weekend ended i was glad to have had the comforts of the Trailboss to ensure we had a great weekend even though the weather was not so great.
